The Te Ngākau Precinct has been described as the heart of Wellington. Join UDINZ at 'Revitalising Pōneke’s Civic Heart' an event being held on Thursday 19 October in a space kindly provided by Wellington City Council.
This event is a “brown paper bag” lunchtime event - a chance to quickly make some connections and learn a little more about this project - all during your lunch break! (you bring your own lunch with you or pick up a sandwich on the way).
Join Anna Calver and Farzad Zamani from WCC as they discuss work to date on the redevelopment of the Te Ngākau Precinct and how it is hoped that the redevelopment of this iconic civic space will generate long lasting benefits and new opportunities for the whole community - a once in a lifetime opportunity to reimagine Wellington’s civic heart. Understanding this development and the transformative impact it could have will be of interest to all of those who want to see Wellington thrive, but particularly consultants, landowners and those considering investment opportunities in and around the Central city because of the amenity the area could offer for residents and visitors alike.
